Stokes 'still not over H&A star'

Ryan Stokes has apparently told friends that he is hoping to reunite with his ex-girlfriend, Home and Away star Jodi Gordon.

Gordon, who plays Martha Mackenzie in the Australian soap, was dumped by Stokes in July after being involved in a drug, bikie and lapdancing scandal.

A friend of Stokes told The Daily Telegraph: "He hasn't gotten over her. Now he wants to see her redeemed in the public eye so they can get back together." The television heir is believed to be behind Gordon's recent participation in Alcoholics Anonymous.

The source continued: "He still loves her. It is the reason she still has a job on Channel 7. He wants her back in his life. He hopes they will reunite sooner rather than later."

While the actress and model's friends are believed to find Stokes to be "stiff, awkward and posh - things Gordon is not", Gordon is apparently keen to restore both her ex's and the public's opinion of her.

The couple had been together for two years before the incident.
