'H&A' star Gordon: 'I have fat days'

Home and Away star Jodi Gordon has admitted that she sometimes feels insecure over her appearance.

The actress, who recently filmed her final scenes as Summer Bay's Martha MacKenzie, explained that her confidence levels vary on a day-to-day basis.

Gordon told Who magazine: "I'm a typical woman - some days I feel great and then there are fat days, and also really bad hair days.

"I probably struggled with it the most at school. High school is hard for a lot of girls. You are growing up, changing so much and figuring out how to look after yourself."

She continued: "I think the older you get, the more comfortable you feel in your own skin. I've never been overly confident about my body. I just accept what I have and do my best to keep in shape.

"I guess I'm lucky in the fact that I'm always playing a character, so my job is to portray that. Throughout my career I'm sure I'll get to play a lot of different women who are all different shapes and sizes."

Gordon recently landed a part in forthcoming police drama Cops LAC.
