The 'Alf Stewart Rape Dungeon' page, which has nearly 10,000 fans, has caused many security concerns for users of the social networking site.
The page has absolutely no links to the soap character played by Ray Meagher and a spokesperson from the Seven Network told The Australian that "no-one from Channel Seven will even be dignifying its presence".
A representative from Facebook said that the site should "be a place where people can openly discuss issues and express their views", but Rape Crisis Centre director Karen Willis said that the page could encourage sexual abuse.
