Published Thursday, Feb 3 2011, 02:32 GMT | By Rebecca Davies

The Australian actor, who is best known for playing Aden Jefferies in Home and Away, said that his parents were concerned that he had a "thirst" to be part of such a competitive industry.
Lasance told National Features: "It was like a fire had been lit inside me. I felt this hunger - this thirst - to do it.
"I talked to Mum and Dad about getting an agent when I finished school. They were concerned because it can be a difficult industry to break into. But failure was not an option."
Lasance will appear on Aussie TV screens in crime drama Underbelly next week.
