Brisley 'lost confidence with pregnancy'

Holly Brisley has revealed that pregnancy damaged her self-confidence.

The 33-year-old Australian actress, who is best known for her role as Amanda Vale in Home and Away, said that she struggled after gaining 18kg while expecting her first son Levi last year.

Brisley told Woman's Day magazine: "You don't really know what is going to happen after you have a baby, but everyone says you'll never have the same body again - and you do wonder, 'Am I ever going to look like me again?'

"When you have a child, you don't have the time for the gym - and I never get there. I do a Pilates class once a week and am always outdoors walking with Levi, but it's not exactly tough exercise."

Brisley added that although 11kg dropped off in the first few weeks after having Levi thanks to breastfeeding, the final 5kg were "almost impossible" to lose.
