Goody goes through early menopause

Jade Goody has revealed that undergoing treatment for cervical cancer has led to early menopause.

The 27-year-old was diagnosed with an aggressive form of the disease in the summer and later had a hysterectomy. Doctors have reportedly given her a 50% chance of survival.

The Big Brother star told New!: "I expected to get thin [after chemotherapy], but you don't. I'm going to be fat and bald."

Goody explained how she is hiding her illness from her sons Bobby Jack and Freddie, saying: "They think I've got tadpoles in my belly and when I go to hospital the medicine makes the tadpoles go to sleep, which makes me tired. And when the tadpoles die, my hair falls out."
