Chantelle: 'I am not a WAG'

Chantelle Houghton has said that she does not want to be called a WAG just because she is dating a footballer.

Houghton, who is romancing Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Jermain Defoe, claimed she was still most famous for her reality TV career.

"I don't think of myself as a WAG," she told the Daily Star. "I can understand why people like Coleen Rooney are called WAGs because that's how they’re known in the public eye.  But I'm known for Celebrity Big Brother and I'm just Chantelle. 

"Still, I adore going to Jermain's games. They are loads of fun!"

She added: "Things are going brilliantly. He makes me so happy and it's such a good feeling. I think he could be 'The One'. I hope so anyway!"
