The Happy Mondays dancer and maracas player - real name Mark Berry - first went bankrupt a year before entering the house but insisted that the £50,000 prize would help him get back on track.
After winning the competition in 2005, he said: "I've got bankruptcy on my case, all sorts going on and now I can just pay my bills and walk straight with no stress.
"I was in a great deal of trouble. Now I've bailed out and I'm forever grateful."
However, the 43-year-old was declared bankrupt again at the High Court on March 31.
Bez, from Chorlton, Manchester, was described as a "journalist and musician” on the insolvency register.
He beat Blazin' Squad's Kenzie and Brigitte Nielsen to scoop victory in the third series of the celebrity spinoff.
