Fashion bosses: 'Chantelle has potential'

Chantelle Houghton has been tipped for a career resurgence after her recent stint on Ultimate Big Brother.

According to Heat, the Celebrity Big Brother 4 winner, who came third on UBB, has been given several opportunities since returning to the reality show.

PR consultant Mark Thomas said: "Chantelle's potential is vast. Since appearing on Ultimate Big Brother, she's been inundated by offers of clothing, cosmetics and a massive underwear deal. Everybody loves her and she has reignited public interest in herself."

A spokesperson for fashion chain New Look agreed: "She has a lot of potential. She's a likeable character, and from what I've heard in the industry she's one of the few females who girls like, too. We would be more than happy to dress her for events."

Ultimo boss Michelle Mone added: "She came across as a bit of a WAG wannabe when she was on Celebrity Big Brother, but she's completely transformed herself into a stylish, elegant and confident woman who seems much more comfortable in her own skin.

"I much prefer the understated Chantelle, and I hope she stays that way."

Houghton's spokesperson has denied claims that she and ex-husband Preston have had a "love-in", though he admitted that the pair have "unfinished business".
