Hobley denies baby weight loss regime
Holby City star Tina Hobley has insisted that she wasn't desperate to lose her baby weight last year.

The 38-year-old actress, who plays Chrissie Williams on the BBC One medical drama, shocked fans by reverting back to her previous figure within weeks of giving birth to daughter Olivia in 2008.

Hobley, who is married to PR director Oli Wheeler, also has a ten-year-old daughter Isabella from her previous marriage to Steve Wallington.

Speaking about her weight loss in an interview with The Mirror, Hobley admitted: "It was much quicker than with Isabella, even though that was 10 years ago and I was still in my 20s."

However, she added: "I can't pretend it was some amazing, tough regime. I was just really busy. I was back at work after nine weeks to film a couple of Holby episodes. That kept me very active, rushing from work to my newborn baby.

"But thankfully after that the scriptwriters were able to write me out of the storyline for a couple of months so I got time to spend with the baby and to rest properly."

Earlier this year, Hobley claimed that her personal life is "boring" in comparison to the antics of her alter-ego Chrissie.
