The 44-year-old country singer, who has two children with his actress wife Kidman, has said that he is happy that they will be spending so much time in their home country while he starts filming as a judge on the Aussie version of reality TV show The Voice.
According to The Daily Telegraph, a smiling Urban and Kidman, together with daughters Sunday Rose and Faith, were spotted arriving in Sydney yesterday (February 14) after flying in from Los Angeles.
Urban recently said of the move: "It will be good for all of us."
Kidman is scheduled to be a judge at the Tropfest short film festival this weekend, then will briefly return to Hollywood for this year's Academy Awards.
Urban's fellow judges on The Voice are Delta Goodrem, Seal and Joel Madden. Filming is believed to start next Monday (February 20).
He recently said in a promo video for The Voice: "it's authenticity, that's the thing I'm looking for. It's just that pure believability, that I feel like this person is speaking to me. The right voice, knowing how to use that voice and the passion, that fire, that's what it comes down to."
