Barbara Windsor angry at BAFTA snub

Barbara Windsor is reportedly unhappy after not being invited to the BAFTA TV Awards.

The EastEnders actress failed to get an invite despite the BBC show's nomination in the continuing drama category.

Other cast members are said to be upset because they were snubbed in favour of the actors involved in the soap's Christmas storyline.

A show insider told The Sun: "Of course, all the cast in the Christmas episodes were going to be invited.

"But Barbara wasn't so happy - and rightfully so - because she's the matriarch of the show."

Samantha Janus, Ronnie Mitchell on the show, only attended the event after being invited by a friend.

A spokesman for the soap said: "The BBC had a restricted number of tickets."
