The actress - who will make a permanent return to the BBC soap as Janine Butcher later this year - said she is enjoying being single after splitting from boyfriend Tony Truman.
Now quotes her as saying: "I’ve been on a few dates - I love dates."
Describing her dream man, she said: "A bit of facial hair’s good! I quite like long hair. I don’t know. It’s all about personality when you meet them, isn’t it?
"My kind of man is Jonas Armstrong, who appeared in Robin Hood. He was delicious - even in tights!"
The 27-year-old rubbished rumours that she is dating DJ Toby Anstis, saying: "We went out to dinner, but we’re friends. That was nothing, just the tabloids."
Brooks, who is mum to three-year-old daughter Kiki, recently said she would never weigh more than 9st again.
