DI Neil Manson (Andrew Lancel) and DC Grace Dasari (Amita Dhiri) continue working together on an investigation involving Dr Julia Bickham (Emily Hamilton), a psychiatrist that Neil knows from a previous case.
The investigation leads them to a man called Stephen Fairfax (Jonathan Slinger), who used to be under Julia's care. Realising that Stephen's a man on the edge, it soon dawns on Neil and Grace that he's kidnapped his former psychiatrist and is holding her at gunpoint in an abandoned warehouse complex.
