'Housewives' rally around Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria has reportedly returned to the Desperate Housewives set, after filing for divorce from her husband Tony Parker.

People reports that the cast and crew of the ABC drama have rallied around the actress in the wake of her public announcement of her separation.

A source said: "Everyone is being very sympathetic to Eva's situation. Work has to go on - but the whole set is very protective of Eva.

"Everyone tried to make sure yesterday that filming went as smoothly as possible."

Longoria is said to be "devastated" by the discovery that Parker had a text message relationship with Erin Barry, the wife of a former teammate.

"She is simply heartbroken. She really wishes Tony the best," a friend told the magazine.

"She just wants this whole situation to be as peaceful as it can be under the circumstances. He's a good person at heart, and she wants the best for him."

The insider added: "She has a group of girlfriends she's very close to that are helping her.

"She's also very close to her family. And the cast of Desperate Housewives have been wonderful, especially Marcia [Cross] and Felicity [Huffman], [who] are there for her through this."
