The last series of the E4 reality show saw the 22-year-old student choose Spencer Matthews over Laing, leaving the McVitie's heir apparently devastated.

"He still likes to tell people he has a bit of a crush because he likes milking it, the 'I've been f**ked over' thing, like he's like a fluffy bear that obviously has to play the victim," she told The Sun.
"Obviously he's lovely and I really liked being his friend and that kind of relationship. But I'd say to anyone who fancies him or wants to get with him - be careful.
"Everyone I speak to has a crush on Jamie. Even my best friends who watch the show, they all are in love with him. And I can't quite understand it."

Thompson added that the first few episodes of the new series deal with her and Matthews struggling to define their relationship.
