Corrie star Flanagan confirms new romance

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan went public with a new romance at an Irish nightclub this week.

The 18-year-old actress, who plays Rosie Webster on the ITV1 soap, has reportedly been dating builder Daniel Scott, 21, for the past three months. They met at a local gym earlier this year and soon grew close.

Flanagan was spotted with her new boyfriend for the first time at the Palace nightspot in Navan, County Meath this week. The pair spent most of the night kissing and cuddling in the VIP area.

"Wearing a stunning green satin dress she turned every male head in the club," a source told the Daily Star Sunday. "But Helen's eyes were firmly set on Daniel who followed her around for the entire night. "

Flanagan confirmed: "We are very happy at the moment and things are going great. We've been together about three months and we are taking it slowly, but no, we have no plans to get married."

The soap star has previously been linked to footballer Micah Richards and Waterloo Road actor Adam Thomas.
