Corrie star to open 200th Poundland

Coronation Street star Antony Cotton will open the UK's 200th Poundland store tomorrow.

The actor, who plays Sean Tully in the ITV soap, is the headline attraction at the Frenchgate Centre shop launch in Doncaster.

Cotton is opening the bargain store at 9am and will be available to meet and greet shoppers until 11am.

The first 200 customers will be given a £5 discount voucher, while one shopper will also be presented with a £200 voucher by the soap star.
