Corrie's Gregson 'to be a dad again'

Coronation Street star Simon Gregson is to become a father for the second time, a report claims.

The actor has apparently kept the news under wraps to avoid upsetting his co-star Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor), who suffered the sad loss of her premature baby Archie last month.

Gregson, who plays Steve McDonald on the ITV1 soap, already has an 18-month-old son, Alfie, with his fiancée Emma Gleave.

A source told the News Of The World: "Simon and Emma are thrilled but have kept it very quiet.

"Kym and Simon work closely together and he didn't want to talk about it when she was going through such a horrible time."

The soap's stars Jack P. Shepherd (David Platt), Wanda Opalinska (Vicki Dankowska), Alison King (Carla Gordon) and Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) have all welcomed new arrivals in recent weeks.
