The actor, who plays Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV1 soap, exchanged vows with his girlfriend of four years at St Bertoline's Church in Barthomley, Crewe yesterday.
Halsall started dating the 26-year-old after they grew close on the set of the Manchester-based programme in 2005. Hudson made her debut as Weatherfield's troubled Katy Harris in 2002 before being written out three years later.
A number of Coronation Street cast members past and present attended the nuptials, including Jenny McAlpine (Fiz Brown), Samia Smith (Maria Connor), Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby), Tina O'Brien (Sarah Platt) and Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw).
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, who worked with Hudson on ITV1's Wild At Heart, also joined the couple on their big day after flying back from the US for the occasion.
Both bride and groom arrived at the ceremony wearing black capes, in an apparent attempt to protect a magazine photos deal.
Halsall first confirmed that he was planning to marry his lover in January this year.
