Fleeshman pledges future to music, acting

Former Coronation Street star Richard Fleeshman has revealed that he plans to continue juggling music and acting for the foreseeable future.

The 20-year-old, who played Craig Harris on the ITV1 soap, returns to screens in the role of aspiring musician Gillen on drama series Monday Monday tomorrow.

Fleeshman told We Love Telly: "[It was] nice getting to play music. I just got back from touring in Europe with Elton John, which was amazing."

He added: "Hopefully I'll do [another] album. I've got some acting in the pipeline too. But whatever I do, people know me best for Corrie. I'm sure that will be my epitaph."

Fleeshman released debut disc Neon in 2007 after completing his four-year stint in Weatherfield.

He has also continued to pursue acting roles and appeared in BBC drama All The Small Things earlier this year.
