Kym Marsh: 'Lomas hasn't moved back in'

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has announced that she is taking things slowly with partner Jamie Lomas following their recent reunion.

The actress, who plays barmaid Michelle Connor on the ITV1 soap, confirmed last week that she had rekindled her romance with the ex-Hollyoaks actor less than one month after their split.

Discussing the state of her relationship in an interview with The Mirror, Marsh admitted: "He hasn't moved back in yet because we're taking things one step at a time. But we're both very happy and everything's great."

The 33-year-old also revealed that she is hoping to turn a corner in her personal life over the coming months following her recent problems. Marsh and Lomas were hit by tragedy in February when their baby boy Archie died shortly after being born 18 weeks premature.

"The start of this year was awful for me, really really rubbish. So I'm hoping for much better things this coming year," she explained. "It's been hard, but when you've got children, you have to find a way through everything life throws at you. You have to carry on and continue because that's life. I've always been a survivor."

Marsh has two children - David, 14, and Emily, 11 - from her relationship with ex-boyfriend Dave Cunliffe.
