Kym Marsh: 'We know the baby's sex'

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has revealed that she recently discovered the sex of her baby.

The actress, who is expecting a child with Hollyoaks' Jamie Lomas, announced on Twitter that she had been for a 4D scan where she was told the news, but is keeping it a secret.

She wrote to her followers: "Had a 4D scan of our baba yesterday! So cute! X. It's fab, it was amazing! We know what sex baba is but nit telling ya!! (sic)"

Co-star Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw) apparently then announced: "It's a girly!"

Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor, recently took early maternity leave from the soap, prompting urgent rewrites.
