Michelle Keegan blasts Max George split reports: 'We can't win'

Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan has hit back at various press reports that her relationship with fiancé Max George is in trouble.
The couple have been forced to deny rumours that their wedding was put on hold following a number of "tense rows".
With more stories appearing today claiming that Keegan grew jealous of the Wanted singer's female fanbase, the 24-year-old appeared on Twitter to "put the story straight".
"I've just read another false story...Me and Max ARE still together, there's been no 'bust-ups'...or 'jealous rows'," she stated. "I haven't 'CALLED OFF' the wedding, because we never set a date in the 1st place!
"Me and Max are happy...this weekend has just PROVED once again that u can't believe everything u read in the press. Aaaaand breathe, :) (sic)."
Keegan went on to lament the double standards applied to the couple showing their love for each other in public.
"And what makes me laugh is that if we show any affection in public, people say 'we're doing it for the cameras' but if we're...pictured without a cheesy grin plastered in our faces 'our relationship is on the rocks' Can't win!!! Rant over!! :))."
Keegan and George became engaged in May 2011 after dating for just seven months.
