Roache, who plays Ken Barlow on the ITV1 soap, revealed on a recent episode of Piers Morgan's Life Stories that he slept with up to 1,000 women - including former Corrie co-star Pat Phoenix - before settling down with second wife Sara.

Briggs is quoted as telling The Mirror: "What goes on in the bedroom stays in the bedroom. I was a bit of a ladies' man myself.
"I don't know if I can say how many I've bedded, but it's probably more than him."
Briggs famously played Ken Barlow's rival Mike Baldwin on Coronation Street between 1976 and 2006.
Viewers saw the pair spar over Ken's wife Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) when she had an affair with Mike, sparking a life-long feud which intensified when Mike married Ken's daughter Susan and had a son with her.
Briggs bowed out of the soap in April 2006, when Mike died of a heart attack in Ken's arms.
