Ex-Corrie star Tina buys new home

Former Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has purchased a new home in Cheshire.

The actress, who played Sarah Platt on the soap, has asked her boyfriend Ryan Thomas to share the house with her. She previously lived in a Manchester city centre flat, while Thomas, better known as Weatherfield's Jason Grimshaw, lives on the outskirts of the city.

"Tina's organised for some builders to do some work on the place - but once it's all finished she wants Ryan to move in," a friend told the Daily Star Sunday. "They did have a bit of a rocky patch but I saw them just a few days ago and they were as loved up as I've ever seen them."

O'Brien has revealed that she is confident about her long-term future with Ryan, but insisted that they are "far too young" to consider marriage.
