Corrie's Jack rekindles romance with ex

Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd has reunited with his ex-girlfriend.

The actor, who plays twisted teen David Platt, split from Lauren Shippey after work pressures caused trouble for their six-year relationship. It was later claimed that Jack had started dating his soap co-star Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina McIntyre.

However, the romance is now back on and Lauren has moved back into the £260,000 Manchester flat she shared with Shepherd.

"Jack has been so busy with work their relationship suffered," a friend told the Daily Star Sunday. "But being apart from her has made him realise how special she is and he told her exactly that."

The pal added that Jack and Michelle are "just good buddies".
