Marsh 'still friends with Lomas family'

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has been maintaining friendships with the family of her ex-boyfriend Jamie Lomas, according to a report.

The 33-year-old actress is said to be as close as ever to Lomas's sister Cassie and half-sister Charley Webb, who is best known for her role as Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle.

A source told Now: "Charley actually introduced Kym and Jamie, and his sister Cassie still often does Kym's make-up.

"You might think they'd find it impossible to stay friends since the break-up. But, in fact, it's helping her to be around them and she's determined to stay close to her girlfriends, despite the enormous upheaval in her personal life."

Marsh, who plays Weatherfield's Michelle Connor, split from former Hollyoaks actor Lomas earlier this month. It was later claimed that she felt "destroyed" by the break-up.

Lomas has been tipped to concentrate on his US career ambitions over the coming months. He bowed out from his own soap role as villain Warren Fox earlier this year.
