Michelle Keegan has denied press reports which linked her to Coronation Street co-star Jack P. Shepherd.
The actress, who plays Tina McIntyre on the soap, has recently split from Hollyoaks actor Anthony Quinlan. It was claimed that their relationship ended because Michelle had grown close to Jack, better known as Tina's twisted boyfriend David Platt.
"Jack and I are just really good mates," Michelle told the Daily Star. "He's taken me under his wing because I was so nervous at the start because I had never been in the industry before.
"We get on and have a laugh on set which is so important, especially when you're new to a job. We have become really good friends."
Keegan added that she will be looking for a "bad boy" to replace Anthony, who plays Hollyoaks' Gilly Roach.
"If I could have any celebrity as a boyfriend it would be Danny Dyer," she explained. "Or even Danny from McFly. More Danny Dyer though, because he's so hot, he's got the attitude and all of that. He's a bad boy and that's what I like."
