Heigl: 'My mum loves my foul mouth'

Katherine Heigl has claimed that instead of berating her for her bad language, her mother actually encourages it.

The Grey's Anatomy star, who swears a lot in new movie The Ugly Truth, said that her manager mum Nancy often uses bad language herself.

The 30-year-old actress told Parade magazine: "The language is wild, but she's heard a lot worse from me. Don't tell her I said this, but she can dish out those raunchy words pretty well herself."

Heigl also claimed that she doesn't worry about her mother seeing her sex scenes with co-star Gerard Butler, saying: "She's never there when we film that stuff. You can imagine it would make Gerard Butler pretty uncomfortable if he was in bed with me while my mother was watching."

The Ugly Truth is out in cinemas in August.
