Rhimes: 'Eric Dane's baby is beautiful'

Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes has revealed that Eric Dane's new baby daughter is "beautiful".

The 37-year-old actor - who plays Dr Mark Sloan in the US television drama - and wife Rebecca Gayheart welcomed daughter Billie into the world on March 3.

Rhimes told Us Magazine: "He's a great guy and he has one of the most beautiful babies."

Dane recently said: "When she came out, she was really alert and her eyes were open. The doctor gave her to her mum, and I was... you know, I was obviously very emotional. Childbirth is a miracle and we've created this life."
