'Grey's' star weepy at castmate's wedding

Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl has revealed that she was in floods of tears at a castmate's wedding this summer.

The actress is marrying boyfriend Josh Kelley on Sunday and said she hopes she can hold her emotions in check when the time comes to say her vows.

The 29-year-old admitted that she had not expected to cry when former co-star Kate Walsh walked down the aisle and was forced to share someone else's tissue when the tears began flowing.

She recalled: "I was so not going to cry through it, it didn't even come into my brain. I had nothing on me, no tissues or anything. I was looking at people with their tissues, and I was like, 'That's so lame, it's not that dramatic', and, as soon as the music, started, I started crying.

"Kate hadn't even walked out yet and I was crying! I was actually sharing a quarter of a tissue with Keyshia Chambers, [Grey's Anatomy co-star] Justin's wife, trying to stop the flow."

She added: "Obviously, I am a little more sentimental than I originally thought. And I do love a great wedding. That was absolutely awesome and fun wedding, with a gospel choir and everything."

It was recently revealed that Heigl has signed up to star in new romantic comedy The Ugly Truth, following the success of her summer movie Knocked Up.
