House actress Jennifer Morrison has claimed that she is happy to no longer be in Hugh Laurie's shadow when she works on other TV shows.
The TV star told The Sun: "The show's called House! It's a huge show and it's really great to work with Hugh Laurie every day, but to have the challenge of being the one who is driving force of the story is attractive."
She added: "We can only argue with House for so long."
Morrison's latest acting role comes in the controversial TV movie The Murder of Princess Diana, where she plays a journalist who refuses to believe official version of events for the Princess' death.
The actress recently announced her split from House co-star Jesse Spencer.
