Stephen Moyer 'wasn't looking for love on True Blood'

Stephen Moyer has opened up about his relationship with Anna Paquin.

The couple, who married in August 2010, met as co-stars on the HBO series True Blood, in which Moyer plays the vampire Bill, while Paquin stars as the telepathic waitress Sookie.

Moyer insisted that he wasn't intending to meet a partner on the set of the show.

"I certainly wasn't looking for a wife when I started," he told The AP.

"Neither of us were looking. And perhaps that's the point - when you're looking in the wife shop, you can never find one. And then one comes along when you're least expecting it."

The actor went on to speak about the upcoming season of True Blood.

"There is something that happens at the beginning of the season which changes [Bill and Sookie's] relationship again," he said.

In June, Moyer admitted that he knows his marriage to Paquin is a "cliché".
