Tennant's new romance could be a 'fling'

David Tennant's relationship with his Doctor Who co-star Georgia Moffett could be nothing more than a fling, according to a report.

The actor's romance with Moffett, who plays his on-screen daughter on the sci-fi programme, was exposed by the press this week after the pair were spotted leaving Tennant's home together.

However, the Daily Mail claims that Tennant has wooed "at least five and probably more" members of the show's cast and crew since he took over as The Doctor in 2005. He is known to take his conquests back to the St David's Hotel in Cardiff, where the series is filmed.

A source told the newspaper: "David may not have the looks of Brad Pitt, but he is an absolute genius when it comes to impressing women, and he's having the time of his life.

"He spends a lot of time filming the show in Wales and let's just say there has been a lot of traffic through his apartment in Cardiff Bay. He takes women to St David's Hotel because it's quiet, luxurious and the staff love him there.

"But it has become a standing joke that you never know who David will walk through the door with next. Some of the staff have been having bets on whether it will be a blonde or a brunette."

Tennant has previously been linked to Sophia Myles, who played Madame de Pompadour in one episode of the show. He has also romanced Bethan Britton, who works in the BBC Wales contracts office, as well as Doctor Who director Jennie Fava.
