Szubanski may be new 'Biggest Loser' host

The Kath and Kim star, who has dropped 45kg in the last year, is rumoured to be the new host of reality weight loss show The Biggest Loser.
Ex-host Ajay Rochester was taken to court accused of welfare fraud at the beginning of the year. Channel Ten later announced that it had "decided to go in a different direction" and fired Rochester from her role.
Other personalities believed to be in the running are former contestant Alison Braun, ex-Olympic swimmer Hayley Lewis and radio DJ Jackie O, who was involved in the recent 2DayFM 'rape row' scandal.
A spokesperson for the TV network confirmed that it has a "tight shortlist" and will be making the announcement within weeks.
Szubanski has also signed on with Channel Ten to present new pop culture show The Spearman Experiment.
