The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star had a Korean dragon inked on his back last month, which includes the names of his children and current girlfriend Ellen Ross.
It was later alleged that the word 'Ellen' had been mistranslated and that the name on the tattoo was actually the male moniker 'Aron' or 'Aaron'.
However, the father-of-eight has now taken to his Twitter account to dismiss the rumours, writing: "There are no "l"s in Korean language, Ellen's name is pronounced with an "r". I had it translated 4 times, do some more research (sic)."
The reality star added that he had an "excellent week" with Ross and that the pair had been enjoying their "alone time together".
Gosselin previously explained that he chose the symbol of a Korean dragon to symbolise rebirth and change. It is thought that the design took two sessions of around six or seven hours each to be completed.
