Alec Baldwin denies 'Housewives' crush

Alec Baldwin has denied reports that he has a crush on Real Housewives Of New York City star Bethenny Frankel.

It had been alleged that the 30 Rock actor was upset when Frankel failed to attend the Grand Slam Tennis Exhibition in East Hampton.

Speaking to the New York Post, he said: "My friend and her daughter are big fans of her show and wanted to meet Bethenny, so I asked for them to be introduced to her.

"I don't know her and wasn't looking to meet her, but somehow this ends up in the Daily News - manufacturing a nice gesture into a total BS item suggesting I want to date this woman. Nothing against her, but I'm not dating anyone."

Frankel recently revealed that she would be returning for the third season of the Bravo reality show, which begins filming this month.
