Arrest made in 'Housewives' ex-fiancé death

A man has been arrested following the death of Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss's ex-fiancé.

Ashley 'AJ' Jewell was killed during a fight in the parking lot of strip club Body Tap, of which he was a co-owner, in Atlanta on Friday night.

Homicide detectives arrested club employee Fredrick Richardson in conjunction with the fatal "one-on-one" altercation, law enforcement officials told The Atlantic Journal-Constitution,

Office James Polite said that detectives were presently "trying to figure out [what happened]. We had a pretty good number of witnesses that are being cooperative".

Richardson was also injured during the fight and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. He is to remain at the medical facility until doctors discharge him, after which he will then be transported to Fulton County Jail.

Burruss recently told Essence that she and Jewell had not been together since August, and that their relationship status was "on hiatus".
