The 38-year-old was rumoured to have been proposed to by boyfriend Jason Hoppy over the summer. She told People that she accepted his request in October after an 11-month courtship.
She said: "It feels great, because I'm with the right person. He may be regretting it because it's been beyond a week and he's in panic mode - [but] no, we're enjoying it."
Hoppy reportedly presented Frankel with a diamond ring at her Upper East Side apartment after she finished filming a forthcoming episode of Real Housewives. The pair later celebrated at Manhattan restaurant Jean Georges, though are yet to decide on the date of the wedding.
Bravo recently confirmed that Frankel will star in her own spinoff show, which is said to focus on the socialite's love life and job as a natural foods chef.
Real Housewives Of Atlanta castmate Kim Zolciak previously revealed that she is no longer engaged.
