'Housewives' Gunvalson files for divorce

The reality star posted a statement on her official Facebook page yesterday which appeared to confirm reports that she has filed for divorce after 16 years of marriage.
"Donn has been an important part of my life and he will continue to be," she wrote. "Anyone who has gone through a divorce understands that this is a personal matter and a difficult time in our lives."
She went on to request that the public respect the family's privacy and thanked her fans for "the outpouring of love and support that [the family] have received".
In a separate interview with Us Weekly, she insisted that the split had been "amicable" and repeated that the couple would like the details to remain private.
Gunvalson and Donn have no children together, although Gunvalson is mother to Michael and Briana from her first marriage.
Real Housewives Of Orange County will reportedly return to Bravo later this year.
