'Housewives' star Taylor Armstrong files for divorce

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Taylor Armstrong has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband of six years, citing 'irreconcilable differences'.

According to TMZ, the reality star filed legal papers on Friday afternoon, after splitting from husband Russell in May.

Armstrong is seeking joint legal and primary physical custody of their five-year-old daughter, as well as both spousal and child support.

During the first season of Housewives Taylor and Russell became known for their regular arguments, and often described their marriage as being "like a business arrangement".

Earlier this year, Bravo stated that although The Real Housewives of D.C. had been axed, the Beverly Hills-based series would return for a new season.

The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills will air its second season later this year, featuring all the original cast members along with new addition Brandi Glanville.
