Brandi Glanville on marriage: 'We were having fun, got carried away'

Brandi Glanville has said that she and close friend Darin Harvey were just having fun when they married in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced the news to fans via Twitter, saying that she and Harvey had tied the knot following a night out in the city.

Glanville wrote; "My new husband is @darinharvey he is a great guy he manages MMA fighters his star is @RondaRoussey the best female MMA fighter on the planet."

However, Darin later took to his Twitter account to confirm that the pair would get the marriage annulled, saying: "Don't worry @BrandiGlanville and I had a crazy Vegas moment. Getting annulled tomorrow. (sic)"

He later added: "Everyone chill @BrandiGlanville and I were a bit ffffed in Vegas wanted to do something crazy so we did. Getting annulled still bff's...

"[Brandi] and I wanted to shock the world.. never though it would get this far.. Sure was fun though. We are bff's and still single."

Glanville also reflected on the marriage in a series of posts on her own Twitter account, saying that she had been reading her fans' comments and was taking them seriously.

"Ringing in the new yr in Vegas w/ my gals & BFF of many yrs @darinharvey was SO much fun & we got carried away by getting married! I didn't realise what we did wuld affect others so seriously! in my head I was just having fun w/ my best friend who I adore & has been there for me during all my tuff times!"

She added: "I didnt mean to offend anyone! I beleive everyone shud be able to get married & maybe even embarass themselves in Vegas ;).

"This yr has been great for me in many ways! Im gr8ful for all the ppl I met thru RHOBV. Bare w/ me, Im gonna make mistakes, but I always learn from them! xob."

Glanville has two sons with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, who is married to LeAnn Rimes.
