The 23-year-old, who launched the Lauren Conrad Collection two years ago, has reportedly cancelled all remaining shipments of her spring and summer range.
Speaking to Page Six, a representative for the star said: "With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon."
It had previously been rumoured that Conrad's designs were failing to live up to expectations, after popular Los Angeles boutique Kitson dropped her range because of lacklustre sales figures.
However, a source close to the reality star said that she was planning to "revamp her line and design with more high-end fabrics...things she couldn't do the first time around".
Earlier this month, Conrad confirmed that she was leaving the MTV scripted reality show at the end of its fifth season.
