Conrad: 'Hills' bosses forced Montag reunion

The Hills star Lauren Conrad has said that she is angry with the show's producers for trying to force her friendship with co-star Heidi Montag.

The fashion designer, 23, fell out with Montag during the second season of the scripted reality series, but was recently filmed attending her former friend's nuptials in California.

"What they didn’t get is that I didn’t want to fight with her anymore. It’s hard to look at somebody who used to be your best friend and say, 'We can’t be friends. Too much has happened'," she told Cosmopolitan.

"I’m trying to move on, but they won’t let me. And when someone keeps pushing you into the same position, well...you get upset."

Conrad recently confirmed that she would be exiting the hit show at the end of the current fifth season in order to lead a normal life.
