Cavallari addresses 'Hills' salary reports

MTV

Kristin Cavallari has become the latest Hills star to deny rumours surrounding the cast's salaries.

It was recently reported that the former Laguna Beach star pocketed $90,000 per episode of the MTV reality show, while co-stars Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge took home $100,000 each.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she insisted that the figures were untrue.

However, she added: "Everyone in the entertainment industry gets paid a lot more money than doctors and lawyers and the people who deserve it. And teachers, I think should make a lot more money than we do, but at the same time I'm not going to argue with it. It's my job."

According to Us Weekly, the 22-year-old also told Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show that the report was wrong in claiming that Patridge earned more than she did.
