Kristin Cavallari 'dumped by NFL star fiancé'

Kristin Cavallari has reportedly been dumped by NFL player Jay Cutler.

The Hills star accepted a marriage proposal from the Chicago Bears quarterback in April, and the couple had been planning their wedding for next spring.

However, a source has now claimed to People that Cutler has split with Cavallari, saying: "[Cavallari] got dumped. She's absolutely devastated. She can't believe this is happening.

"She was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location - everything was set. She's in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way."

Another insider however told the magazine that Cavallari was the one to make the decision to split during a recent night out in Los Angeles.

"She was hanging out at a table with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio," they said. "She was telling friends how she called off the engagement."

A spokesperson for Cavallari has not yet been reached for comment.

The reality star previously said that she "knew" she would marry Cutler, even though the pair only began dating last September.

Cavallari announced plans last month for a strict pre-wedding diet and exercise regime.
