'Hills' star Kristin Cavallari accepts invite to Marine Corps Ball

Kristin Cavallari has been invited to the Marine Corps Ball.

The Hills star is the latest celebrity to be asked to attend the November event. Actress Mila Kunis first received an invite in early July, with her Friends with Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake earning his own invite just days later. Since then, Betty White, Paul Walker and Miley Cyrus have all received invitations to the event.

Yesterday, Marine Jonathan Burkett reached out to Cavallari via Twitter, asking her to accompany him to the ball.

"Wanted to know if you want to go to the Marine Corps Ball with me in San Diego?! Would make a video but still deployed!" Burkett's message read.

Cavallari answered: "Would love to! When is it?"

TMZ has since confirmed that Cavallari is working to clear her schedule in order to attend the event.

Iron Man 2 actress Scarlett Johansson was also invited to the ball, but declined her invitation due to "previous commitments".

Cavallari accepted a proposal from Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in April, but the couple broke off the engagement in July.
