'Survivor' producer 'charged with murder'

Ex-Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman has been charged with the murder of wife Monica Beresford-Redman.

Mexican State District Attorney Francisco Antonio Quesada Aior confirmed the arrest warrant, reports NBC News. It was forwarded to US Marshals in Los Angeles, where Bruce recently returned in order to spend time with his young children, 5-year-old Camila and 3-year-old Alec.

Monica was beaten and strangled while on holiday in Cancun in April, and her body was later found in a sewer. The producer has denied any involvement in his wife's murder.

"I am innocent," he said.

"I am devastated at her loss; and I am incensed at the suggestion that I could have had anything to do with her death."
