He was convicted in 2006 of failing to pay taxes on the $1m (£644,662) prize he received for winning the inaugural edition of the CBS reality series and was subsequently incarcerated for more than three years.
The AP reports that Hatch is to appear this morning in a Providence federal court to face a further complaint that he did not re-file his 2000 and 2001 tax returns after being released from jail in 2009.
Hatch could face two more years in prison if he's found to have violated his parole agreement by failing to remedy the tax debt.
The reality star gained fame on the first season of Survivor for edging out Kelly Wiglesworth to win the competition, even after angering fellow contestants by refusing to wear any clothing at various times.
